| | Personality| |
Childish | Stubborn | "weird" | Adventurous | High Strung | Mischievous | Ambitious | Short tempered | Likes to help|
Surata's personality is far from what people has depicted him as over the years as he acts very much how he physically looks, like a kid. He will throw fits if he doesn't get his way and is easily angered by small things like calling him a child or "ungodly" looking.
He's very stubborn and won't give anything up easily as seen with his shrine, which he won't leave which has been kicked over, messed with, and had a whole city built over it yet he still claims it as his.
Surata is also very high strung, mischievous, and adventurous, he's always wondering around looking for trouble, whether it's to cause it or solve it. He love to help people, though sometimes too much as he'll try to help people that don't even seem to need help and end up irritating them.
Lastly Surata is very ambitious, like before once he's set his mind on helping someone or thing he will not stop till he believes he had had a positive effect on that person or thing.
| | History | |
Surata use to be a bit on the shy side as he would inconspicuously lead travelers to their destination when they were lost but was too afraid to ever reveal himself to the people he helped.
Eventually maps became more accurate and popular so the need for Surata decreased and he began to feel lonely. He decided to simply cover himself in a disguise, knowing he wouldn't be taken seriously since he knew he resembled a human child, that included a mask he asked his tengu friend for and created a fake beard knowing if he appeared elderly, then humans seemed to trust elders easier. With this he began leading humans personally as he longed for their attention.
Soon though modern times came and GPS was created and the need for Surata was completely gone. Begging for attention, he ditched his disguise for modern day clothes your average 15 year old would wear, and in wanting to be needed so bad he became very out going and high strung, he would go looking for trouble to solve. He wanted to be useful once again.

:bademoticon: A park bench was built over his shrine so he has claimed the bench as his and gets irritated when people sit on it without bringing something he can take as payment.
:bademoticon: He really has a thing for animals because previously he would help lost travelers get to where they were going but then...GPS was invented (which he hates with a burning passion) and now the only thing he can seem to help when lost are animals.
:bademoticon: He has a fanny pack with "Hammer Space" which he keeps everything and anything he owns or receives in.
:bademoticon:Amongst gods he's now known as a joke as the "park bench god- god of all things bench-like"
