Description Doing these for my own amusement.

I equate Planeswalkers in Magic to Summoners in LoL since Summoners are the ones that enlist and direct champions.

Kudos if you understand the choice of colors.

That -X is a black ability, probs needs to start on 3 either way, your losing card advantage to tick him up.

Good call. How about destroying target nonland, non Planeswalker permanents?

Personally i HATE the word "non planeswalker" showing up on a card, and i wish wizards stuck to their guns when they said they would not be printing cards which said that due to them being clunky as all hell. Secondly, why not try and find a different - ability that feels more lee sin, because this card is lacking in blind monkatude right now imo.

I suppose so. The blink monk thing doesn't really apply to this version of Lee Sin though since it represents the character during his younger days as a Summoner-in-training. It also gave me a reason to make a Planeswalker card since I was associating Summoners with Planeswalkers in terms of gameplay.

Any suggestions for a RU minus ability?

I suppose Threaten could work. It references his Summoner aspect a bit.

I really like the abilities and how well they would go with a UR deck. And I really like the Lava Axe + Mind Spring for 5 xD

His first effect is a bit of a risk but I like it. The second effect can be REALLY useful and the last effect kicks ASS!

Bazaar of Baghdad. My friend doesn't play LoL or know anything about the storyline, but he really wanted me to make that one of his abilities

True, but the Bazaar is an effect to be handled with care.

The colour choice would, of course, reference the fact he set himself on fire in protest... Not sure about blue, but I'd say that's the same reason. I'd have almost made him red green, since he had a plant next to him, stating "Once the final leaf drops, I'll die from the fire".

Actually, the color choice reflects his impatient, passionate personality when he was a junior Summoner. The blue represents his fascination and studying of arcane summoning magic.

Touche. I still think of the fire first, though.

That's... Cool. I play MtG a lot, so I actually get what this means haha
It's cool, though. I'd get that card...

owo

You get what this means? Do you mean the choice of colors?

itsapig In reply to soy-monk [2012-03-28 05:43:50 +0000 UTC]

Yes, partially, but also the effects and +'s and -'s... Someone that didn't play MtG wouldn't understand what the effects meant haha

Ah, gotcha.

I thought you meant you understood why I went the color choices based on the character's backstory.
