Description Little is known of the untouchable cigar shark or (Isistius gigantia) it is thought that is most closely related to the tiny constellation shark I. diplorus. This animal's diet is speculated to be mostly made up of small deep sea fish, and carrion as one of the few times this animal in the deep sea was an individual feeding on a whale carcass. This animal breeds for one night every year. It has only been seen breeding around the Korongo islands. The female will then lay several hundred eggs. Which will then sink into the depths. This animal doesn't have a conservation status as it is unknown if the ones seen breeding are all adults or just a part of the whole population.
