Word of advice:If your character design literally hurts my eyes, then it's not creative, it's not "original", it's not good.
It's a bad design.
It's not creative to use the MS paint default colours and write "EDGY!!!" shit all over your stupid character, to make it look anorexic and to make everything look like a generic dog.
Sparkledogs.
Not "creative".
Just ugly as fuck.
Sparkledog doesn't just mean 'unnatural colours'. It's the bad design, it's the clashing colours (hell, my fursona is blue/yellow/white/black, but at least he doesn't burn retinas), and most of all? The self-important attitude.

I do draw colourful things, some people call them sparkle dogs, but I am more carful with my colours and just because you draw sparkle dogs doesn't mean it is going to have bad anatomy or look awful.

Wow. Just wow. For one, It's peoples characters and they can do whatever the Hell they want with them. Naturally colored dogs are Not Creative. You see them everyday in real life.

This I agree with. People should be careful what colors they pick. And people should also learn Proper anatomy when drawing Sparkledogs. But calling there Characters Stupid is not right.

That's your opinion, But I find them highly creative. Some can be ugly, but there are some that are not.

Sparkle dogs looks something I would see if I were drunk. They are like the pink elephants of world.

Yeah, neon colors are normally not too good to use on wolves if you add to much. Humans makes a little more sense because they can dye their hair, and they wear clothes.

I don't usually mind about wether it's a Sparkledog or a normal wolf. If the art's good, I comment/fave.
True, I try to have as little rainbowy powerpuff wolves in my own gallery but I like having unnatural colours for some characters.

Yes! I mean, i try REALLY hrd to make my charries bright, but I totally suck at markings. And I've also realized that by giving your character a "quirk" it's actually much more recognisable. Such as, I have a purple cat in 2 shades with a pink bow, a plain brown, blue eyed cat with a pokΓ©ball named oswald that is EXTREMELY necessary in pics of her, a really smooth, eve (from wall.e) style robo-cat, and a red cat with 4-5 stripes and a black band around it's arm. And guess what? All my friends who have INTERESTING characters, that are not overdone, I recognise instantly, even if they changed thier icon or summit.

I don't really care about sparkledogs. If a person wants their fursona to have eye-watering pelt colours, rainbow body parts, bizarre wings, 10 tons of jewellery and piercings, and anime hair then they can. get over it and move on.

I agree. I draw unnatural colored animals, but sparkledogs are annoying. I have a few sparkleanimal characters, but they arn't loaded down with accessories. And my characters are anthros anyway... so the accessories don't bother me.
But when a DOG has tons of accessories, it's pure weird. How does it even put them on?

Last I checked, you can be creative without 435445 piercings/markings/colors/etc on a skinny rat dog.
My fursona is a mutt who is brown, tan, and white, and she looks perfectly fine without all of that.

Well, some people would say that sparkledog is anything with odd colors. Like my character Io, who is purple, and sort of a wolf.

I usually consider a sparkledog to be one of those crazy overdone ones. So I probably wouldn't consider yours a real sparkledog... just a 'colorful canine'. Not sure about the maker though.
