You are not superior to anybody else simply because you are a christian/atheist/pagan/satanist/agnostic/pastafarian/whatever the fuck.It doesn't matter if you believe in god, many gods, or no gods: you can still be a raging moron and a terrible person.
You do not have high ground simply because of what you do or do not believe.
Period.
Yes, looking at you, atheists who make me ashamed to say I'm an atheist by acting like, simply because you're an atheist, you're somehow superior to religious people.
The inverse is true, too, of course.

I hate it when Christians try to shove their religion down someone else's throat, such as myself, but that also does not give athiests the right to rage about their own religion. We should all respect everyone's opinions. So, a religion is kind of like a penis; it's nice to have one, but don't go shoving it down people's throats.

And that is what annoys me about people who bash religion. They always use Osama Bin Laden or some terrorist to "prove" their point. They have a religion, so what? Who cares? Being religious/none religious doesn't make you perfect, yet people always take pride in their faith.

Very, very well put. As a Christian, I take pride in the fact that, unlike some other idiots who also call themselves Christians, I don't go around telling people how they should or shouldn't live their lives. It's not my business; I'm too busy trying to live my own life, so why the hell should I care about theirs?
Unfortunately, I have butted heads on multiple occasions with atheists who think their shit don't stink just because they don't have an "irrational" belief in an "all-powerful wizard living on a cloud." I respect their perception of my God, even if it is somewhat misguided, but what I don't respect are those who think that anyone with religious/spiritual beliefs is somehow devoid of all reason and logic, and is therefore inferior to them. You know what having a superiority complex leads to? Well, considering it's the root of all oppression, I'd have to say...oppression.

Religion doesn't matter to me. We're all fine people. Whilst I do believe it is possible to be moral without religion, I don't act like I achieved something because of it. Religion doesn't save you from being a bad person. But not having a religion doesn't exactly make you a good person automatically either.
