With all the Pokemon fan art I draw you'd never guess that only a few years ago I was much more a digi-fag than a poke-fag. Ask my friend tyguard, when she met me I was like "Pokemon, meh. But OMG, DIGIMON DIGIMON DIGIMON." Actually, I think the first time she came to my house we played Rumble Arena, ahaha. D'AWW MEMORIES.Anyway... I like a LOT of Digimon and I felt a bit guilty for not drawing one that I feel needs "more love" in the fan art department but... Gabumon was my favorite rookie out of Adventure ;~; Dunno why, I guess I just related to him for whatever reason and liked how chill he was. I just had an ITCH to draw him. SO. ENJOY.

I've always liked Digimon more than Pokemon, don't know why, I had a pretty much equal exposure to the both of them. I think it's because the Digimon monsters actually look like monsters, whereas Pokemon always look soft with big cartoon faces

Wow, I only now figured out what always bugged me about Gabumon. I just now realized that he's pretty much an Agumon wearing a wolf pelt. At least, that's what it looks like to me. Oh well, he had a good personality and was one of my favorite Digimon.

Back when Digimon had Mad reputation!! You did a wonderful job on this, I'm also really diggin the blue highlight around his body. This dude is all my friends fav Digimon, I was more of a Wargarmon type of dude lol.

I've always loved Digimon ^,^ seen every episode of the first 4 seasons! I'm not sure exactly who my all-time-favorite is (it tends to shift) but the first that comes to mind is BlackWarGreymon ^-^ he was kinda moody and emo, but still totally awesome. It's just so funny that I randomly came across your work (your Vertigo, of all things) and happened upon this amazing Gabumon because my love of Digimon was just sparked back into life the other day when I found a certain bit of art. Don't get me wrong, Pokemon rock too! But those digital guys will always hold a special place in my heart. Pokemon are for games and cards. Digimon had the better show and toys.
