Finally finished! I've been working on this digital painting off and on over about a week. The subject is a character I've used for a very long time. I've been trying to come up with a new name for him and keep putting it off, hopefully I will come up with something for him soon. Feel free to make suggestions!I really enjoyed watching the trees and moon come along in this as I worked, and I'm pretty happy with the finished product.

I adore the shading and all the little details that stand out and are highlighted by the light and shading contrast.
The hair is gorgeous and lush as well as the fur.
I love the background, it's vivid and beautiful. I love the textures on the moon, and the sky as a whole is very surreal and wonderful.

this is great! i love the fur detailing as well as the saliva...came out so good! i also really like the curve of the trees around the moon. very cool

Nice transition to digital. Looks like it's along the lines of your traditional style I saw in your portfolio. The only thing that I see is that the short strokes that really make the wolf and trees stand out are missing in your clouds and the moon. Perhaps bringing some of that into the other elements in the piece would give it an overall cohesiveness?
