I think the sepia-ish aspect of the ink looks really good! It really stress out the red in the background without having the violent black/red contrast as in the inalterate version, and I do love the pose (and the glasses. Especially the glasses in fact). I'm not sure how it is called in english but you can get a similar aspect 100% traditionally with "walnut ink", I know it sounds dumb but it's like walnut powder and when you add water on it, it turns into a brown ink (and it's cheaper than "real" ink >:3 )~ Dunno, just thought about it, you might want to try it out if you didn't know about it
