WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!

At last! I've been waiting so very very long to do this comic! It's my favorite, as of this point, and will likely remain so. I'd say that out of all the strips before and after this, I've thought out this one the most. Took me forever to get all the text saying pretty much what I wanted to say. I'm really very pleased with this one. I wanted it to be as perfect as I could get it and I'm really happy with it. And it's a new record with 11 panels! I knew exactly all of what I wanted to fit into here and that happened to be 11 panels worth of stuff. This has some of my fav drawings of this series in it, some older, and some freshly drawn. Wooo!

It has so much emotion in it. This comic represents what's probably my favorite part of alter-ego transformations: The reactions of those closest to the person. Ah gravy, I love alter-ego stuff like this. I got a long of inspiration from what I consider to be one of the best alter-ego change sequences around, which is that of Hitokiri Battousai during Kenshin's fight with Saito in Rurouni Kenshin. I loved that scene so much. One of my favorite parts of the series. In Bleach, no one ever really saw Ichigo as a hollow, so it didn't apply there, but Kenshin was a very inspiring part of this.

As for the content, I'm sure that some will disapprove of Katara's reaction, saying that it smells of Kataang. I can't deny it. I'm Kataang to the core, so that seeps into my work whether or not I want it to. But I wasn't really writing her part to fit in with Kataang. I wanted to make her reaction what I thought it would be if this actually happened. Katara gets distressed enough when Aang goes into the Avatar State, never to this degree because this situation's different. I'd say it's slightly more extreme with Hollow Aang, so I made her reaction moreso. It may be my Kataang-itude in part, but I hope I got her character reactions down good.

Now, to summarize! After blowing Azula away, Aang lowers his arm and his head, standing silently. Katara's the one talking btw if you couldn't tell. She's thinks to herself that it all feels so wrong. Aang's acting nothing like he usually does. Azula Lays on the ground, knocked unconcious by Aang's last attack. Aang puts his hand to his face(in retrospect it looks kinda like he's talking his mask off, but he's not) and begins to chuckle, low in his throat. An image of Aang, as Katara's always known him, flashes through her mind(Quote from episode 3) She then states once again that there's no way that Aang could be acting the way he is. She comments that she can still feel that Aang is somewhere within his altered form, as Aang begins to raise his head and pull his hand back. Another image of Aang flashes through her mind(of my own design. Aang delaying telling Katara about his feelings...again... -_- ) She then laments that she can feel him slipping farther and farther away, as tears begin to flow down her face. Aang then, wind whipping around him, breaks out into an insane cackle. The blowing past her, Katara shuts her eyes, finding it too hard to look at the transfigured Aang.

Aaaagh! I love this one so much! That's about it for now! I hope you all love this as much as I do ^____________^
