History:
Mikyung was born to two well known doctors and was constantly being swept away overseas for medical conferences. Because of that, her only real friend growing up was her older sister, Min-seo, but she didn't mind. They were very close to each other and basically had no real relationship with their parents. Mikyung was a sickly child but did her best to keep her problems to herself, since her parents went overboard with medical tests and hospital stays. However, because of her prolonged stay at hospitals, she feels at ease in them and is now studying to be a nurse.

When Mikyung and Min-seo were younger (14 and 18), their parents brought them to Japan and left them in a hotel room for three days while they were at a medical convention. The girls became bored after a few hours and sneaked out of the hotel room to walk around, visiting Tokyo's shops and cafes. Time passed and the sun went down, and the girls realized they were lost. Terrified, they wandered around and tried to find their way back and did their best to avoid the shady people on the streets. Because of their luck, it began to rain, and they didn't have an umbrella. When Mikyung sneezed and began to shiver, Min-seo forgot her fears and approached a group of men not much older than her. The men all had motorcycles and seemed like thugs, but Min-seo asked them for help anyway. Without hesitation, the men helped the girls and actually took them back to the hotel on their bikes.
The next day, Mikyung had a horrible fever and could barely get out of bed. Min-seo didn't want to leave her in case she got worse, but it was obvious Mikyung needed medicine. Min-seo was debating on calling her parents when a knock on the door brought her back into reality. She opened it to find a few of the motorcycle guys from the night before - they had come to make sure she and Miykung were alright. Min let them in and when they saw the state Kyung was in, one of the men ordered another to go buy medicine for the girl. The men stayed until Kyung's fever went down and the leader gave Min his number and told her to call if she needed anything.
After all that happened, Min-seo and Mikyung became close with the members of the bike gang (Min-seo ended up marrying the leader a year later), and the girls developed a love of bikes.

After the girls' parents found out that Min-seo had married a "delinquent," they cut her off completely and forbid Mikyung from seeing her sister. Mikyung in return told them to screw themselves and began living with her sister. Because her family was well off and traveled often, Mikyung hadn't attended a normal school before (she had private tutors), so starting high school was awkward at first since she was used to talking to and befriending adults. Eventually, she learned how to get along with kids her age and made a lot of good friends.

She learned about vehicle repair from Daisuke, her sister's husband, and began working in their shop as a teenager. People often doubt her abilities because of her appearance, but keep their concerns to themselves because Daisuke and the other guys that hang around the shop intimidate them. She's actually one of the mechanics at the shop and is completely reliable, which is why she has so many recurring customers who only request her!!

One day, while riding around town, she saw an ad for the RFA and decided to apply, since it looked like a fun organization! Because of her skills and perfect driving record, she was accepted to the transport division after her first interview.
