I'm really becoming attached to this little model. Idk...I might try to rig him in blender. Its like hes a doll or old dino toy
And I've finally settled on colors I like <3Apparently they lived in forests, but I like the colors here so SHADDAP, its a damn DINOSAUR and we change our minds about this shit every day <3
HOW I DID THIS
Model made and painted in Sculptris.
Terrain made using Terragen and rendered, saved as bitmap, resaved as JPEG in photoshop.
Background brought into sculptris as BG to Paint mode.
Exported from Sculptris as a PSD
Brought the bg BACK into the PSD and did some lighting tweaking (shadow, lighting on model, reflection of model in the water, screenshotification)
Might do a tutorial, but its really not a brilliant way to go about doing this XDD I'm just a DERP with 3D so I find my own way around the stuff.
Terragen was used to make the Terrain which makes this kind of stuff really easy. This terrain BLOWS compared to some of the landscapes I've seen made. There IS a free version. Google it <3

Beautiful detail on the raptor and the bg! It's so beautiful. I'm not even sure how to describe this. Daaang, though, you sudden took a huge leap with that Sculptis program there...
Btw, I can't help but LOVE the colors in the background. Ahh, it looks so soft. So light and blissful.

The background was made entirely in the FREE version of Terragen
Its really very easy to do, [link] give it a go if youre up for it :3 I didn't need a tutorial or anything! Tiz easy
