The class H semi desert planet where the Delta Aquilae Decommissioned Ship and Salvage Facility is near. My concept by www.deviantart.com/colourbrand . The originally uninhabited planet serves as a support and storage area and is part of the large Federation facility. The only inhabitants of the planet are the Starfleet personnel, uniformed and civilian assigned to the storage, fighter base, mining operations, and recreational facilities.

Three large storage warehouses for recycled and salvaged starship components, one small dilithium and one small iridium ore mines are located on the northern hemisphere. The fighter base is also located in the northeast. The planet has numerous shallow, freshwater seas and lakes with some fish like life forms. Starfleet personnel have constructed a recreational activities facility near the equator. It has been designed to resemble earth's Hawaiian Islands with transplanted palm trees and several man made beaches. A multilevel recreation complex features restaurants, bars, holosuites, gaming tables, massage and beauty salons, two barbershops, an indoor pool and sauna. It also has hotel style suites for off duty stays and live entertainment in two large auditoriums. There is also an emergency medical facility on site.

The mines and recreational facilities are staffed by civilian Starfleet personnel, holograms, and androids. Uniform Starfleet personnel provide security and medical services as well as engineering supervision.

The planet is home to the 99th Fighter Wing stationed at Delta Aquilae Fighter Base. Three fighter squadrons and a fighter maintenance squadron make up the 99th.

Delta Aquilae 2 has become a 'home away from home ' for the thousands of Starfleet personnel assigned to the space and planetside facilities.
