All questions and concerns you really want answered/replied to should be directed to my main account, =neekko . I do not check messages often here.Another stamp expressing my views, because you all know how much I love to protest. This is in response to all those "10-second doodle I did in class" deviations that somehow make the front page. Put shit like that in Scraps, please. "Will move to Scraps later" doesn't cut it, either.

Yes. YES. Yes to this stamp! I help run a fairly popular group, and we ask artists to only submit work that they are proud of with the knowledge that we will vote on pics based on quality, etc. Despite this, people STILL submit notebook doodles. I think about 30% of submissions really belong in scraps folders...
And the fact that people favorite these scrap-worthy pics enough to get them on the front page makes me sad. To people favorite EVERYTHING their favorite artists draw???

I usually post the sketch as a deviation and then put into scraps later when I update it so I can get some form a feedback in case there is something I may miss. I don't seem to get many people who watch my scraps. Also sometimes the sketch looks so much better than the finished version

I disagree. Yes, some doodles look like crap, but the ones that make the front page are usually really nice, despite the fact that they were drawn in a few minutes.

I have alot of "doodles I did in class",but does this count if you make that doodle into a better picture?

I DO do the whole. "Will move to scraps later," not because of the quality of the art, but usually because of the content. Usually, my really quick drawings are something to laugh at, so I put it up for people to see, before taking it down like, less than a day later. But if it's a really quick doodle not to portray anything, then yeah, I put it into scraps.

Me too! I have this tendency of having all my original pencil sketches in Scraps, except if I don't to colour it, or like it the way it is.

I completely agree x__x I'm tired of seeing sketches and doodles on the front page in the popular section. I'll post sketches in my main gallery on occasion when I feel like my gallery is getting too dead, but I know I wouldn't if I were popular, because that'd just anger me to see my doodles making front page o_o

i have a few exceptions, but i agree with you mostly. some people do do well done doodles.
