Description Ok, I painted him. I think it's sloppy and the rainbow sheen didn't turn out to be much more than a smudge, so I'll probably throw this in Photoshop and see what I can do.

*Update - I added some more shadows and defined the colors a little more.

I really love the texture of the snake, it's awfully lifelike, and the background's angry cohesion of colors looks very neat, it gives the impression of blurry wilderness.

Beautiful! I love your style of nagas. He looks mighty comfy up there on that moss-covered tree limb. The shape and texturing of the underscales are just about perfect. Those little straight lines running perpendicular to the scales are some true-to-life details I never would have thought to include in such a creature. It is admirable that you attempted the classic snake skin "glow." I know I never would have been able to come close. Again, very beautiful creature.

It may be a little fuzzy, but the background looks good and I'm sure you can fix the rest up in PS.
