SO. This is probably the first fully rendered pencil drawing that have appeared in my gallery in... years. I've always felt that only completed, fully colored pieces should go into my gallery but I think it's time to break that tread. c:
So, introducing my half of the art trade with Draga [*Legna03 ] of her smexy blue and purple wolf character named Hinto. I'm really curious to his story but she hasn't done much with him yet. >_>; But from what I can gather from his reference sheet; he's constantly traveling in hopes of finding his purpose in the world. Because of that, it reminded me of that song from Spirit: Stallion of Cimarron. In a return for this art trade, I've asked Draga to do my Halloween Hyena character, Sinister Sin, which looks pretty badass in her style! 8D

As you can see, for this art, I tried for the whole dramatic 'OMFG PERSPECTIVEEEEE'd!' look but there's still some things that bothered me. Eh, at least I'm getting my practice in. 8D; Though I do admit that I had a lot of fun with his floating scarf annnd... I do particularly love that scenery and the moon. Pretty moon. THAT IS A SHINY MOON. OK.

ok ok oookkkkk!!! Man I put things off for too long I swear! I tried to keep up with it but alas...it didnt work *is fail* but now I have some time and I need to comment on this! I neeed too!!! Cause I didnt want you to think that I wasnt going to, I mean after all what kinda friend would I be if I didnt comment on such an amazing drawing!?...a bad one thats what!.....err umm anyway time to comment (that and this picture needs more comments!!!)
First off..wow..As I told you on webcam...wow...I mean look at that pose! I know I know perspecitve is a bitch but I gotta tell ya youre getting better and better at it! I mean just look at this! You can tell that he must be running hella' fast. Ok then where to start where to start...theres so many things to comment on I just dont know where to begin!.....ok well...hmm..I guess we'll start from the front and work our way back! XD
As I said before, I really love the perspective about this, the angle, the pose, you can tell just from looking at him that he is one wolf who is out on a mission! I like how the head is posed back looking back at the moon, as if he's searching for something, an answer to maybe why he's always running. The definting look on his face is so well done, do strong and specially gotta love the goatee, thats always adds sexiness! *licks lips* I also really like how you did his eyes, sharp, narrow, and just so striking! I bet if this was colored that would defintely stand out; and even tho its not it still looks good! Oh and the tuff of hair! eeeeee its so cute!...or hot?...I dont know its kinda both XD But you gave it some form even have it blowing in the wind (which is always dramatic~ )...you know what else I really like about this; other that that super sexy front paw;..I like his ear..I dont know why but I really like it!...is that odd? No not for me XD Also its really cool how you did his markings, instead of outlining them you let the pencil and the shadeing do it for you, which defintely adds alot, once again its those hidden details that you have to look for!
And speaking of detail, I feel so bad that you have to do all that shadeing for his fur cause god only knows that I wouldnt have the patience for that, but you did and the end restult is amazing! I bet that killed a couple of pencils, or lead for your pencil XD But still its perfect, and really just makes him jump out even more!
Oh and the scarf! That is one sexy scarf!..I mean looooookkkk!!! ITS LONG AND RIPPED AND STUFF, THAT MUST MEAN THAT HES BAD ASS!..its only natural of course! You know what else caught my attention, the belts on his leg. I just looove those! Not just cause there're belts and belts are uber sexy in every way, but just how you drew them. You didnt just draw stipes and go 'derp derp these are belts!' no. Not you! Youre better than that and you took the time and effort to make them look like belts! Huzzah! I mean even at the angle that theyre at you can see the thickness to them, they look pretty heavy duty! But theyd have to be if this guy is running all the time! And hell, even how the buckles dont line up, there're in differnet places, you make them actually look like how they should! I guess school will do that to ya |D
OH AND HOW COULD I FORGET THAT FRONT PAW......seeexxxxyyyyyyyyyyy.. Damn you just have this way of drawing them XD Heh if there was a meme about paw styles youd have the best one of them all! I always love how you just put in those little details, specially with the claws, and the slit where the claws form, and even the paw pads and...dhole youre just good at drawing paws, and thats all there is too it!
Now then onto the backround! Again I feel bad for you paw to have to go thru all this but when you wanna do something you take it all the way! Look at that grass! Damn thats some fiiine looking grass right 'dar! You even kept with the perspecive and you make individual blades, getting smaller and smaller as they go back, and hell you even did the rest of the field. Heh again I dont know if I would have the patience for that, I think after a while id be like '...whaaaaaaatever *scribbles*'. Oh and I even noticed how the ground itself has some demetion to it, you made the horizon line 'bend' with the picture, like the camera was placed in the grass and just happend to catch the perfect picture of this guy! Again going back the backround, I like how with the stars you just erased them from the black, which it how they should be, after all there lights not cirlces! Gives them that cool 'glowing' effect...o0o0o0ooo0.....*howls* ...ahaha sorry, natrual reaction on seeing the moon of course! XD and what a lovely moon it is! I bet that must be one beautiful place and from your drawing it certinally looks that way. Ah and the words over there in the corner really add to this picture, just adds that deeper meaning. Heh reading it and looking at the picture you could really just hear him talking <3
OK ok Im sure you have more important things to do right now than reading ridiculous long comments that are...well really late and took forever <<; but as always its better late than never right! As always and with every picture that you do, you just improve more and more, youre getting more skilled every day! Its almost an insult (in my opinion) that you dont have more comments or more watchers! Tho that seems to also be going up so I guess I dont have to worry bout that one! Course im sure that others are just so blown away by how breath taking your work is that they cant comment! After all a +fav is a compliment in its own way...tho maybe thats also good so it doesnt crowd your inbox |D I dont know *shrugs*

Haha, I guess I really do put way too much effort into an artwork; even when it's something as simple as an art trade. I CAN'T HELP IT. IT HAS TO BE COMPLETED IN ORDER TO GO INTO MY GALLERY! Dx *obsesses over that way too much... which is probably why my gallery is so pathetically small xD* But thank yooou, I'm really glad to hear that all of my hard work on the small details such as the fur and the background was worth it all!
