Wat? WAAAT? I'm actually submitting MORE arts??And not just any art... but a commissioned piece!
'bout time I start getting that out of the way!
Heh, so this is a finished commission for that super-special-awesome person, ~CrescentNine ! Not too long after I posted my commission information journal, she quickly commissioned for a Full-Body Traditional of her character, Mino. Who is, might I add, A LOT of fun to draw! 8> He's supposed to be a very happy, playful character and I tried to portray that here.
And yes... it's a frog... For whatever reason, I decided that there should be a frog in this art. And there it is. So yes... THAT... is a frog.
I also got inspired with the weather that's FINALLY warming up here in Colorado so I kinda wanted to make it that summer day scenery. After all, we're all eager for summer vacation, no? ;D
FFFFFFFFFFFF. The scanner kinda ruined this; you can't really see the light blue skies with white-out clouds. I'm sorry for my scanner's stupidity... ;A;
This is actually worth a liiiiiittle bit more then what she paid me but I couldn't help it; once I started coloring the background, I couldn't stop! So here's to you Nine, I'm so sorry that I took a while to get this done.
I hope this was worth the wait and the money! Thanks again for commissioning me!

First off I gotta say that this is so freakin cute and defintely an eye catcher! The pose, the character. OHMYGOD THAT FROG..THAT FROG MADE THIS PICTURE..but more on that later! ahem...but seriously this is just one of those pictures that jumps out at you and really catches ya, and then draws you into this frenzy of 'awwwwws'. I love how youre always able to do such an amazing job and make eash picture so different and unique, and really make them our own while keeping true to the orginal character. Ok I dont even know where to start on this..so I guess i'll go to the one thing that really caught my attention when I fist saw this, which would be the scars. I love how you do scars, you make them so detailed instead of being like '*draws lines* THESE ARE SCARS K, NOTICE HOW THEY ARE SCAR LIKE AND RED' but instead you really make the little details like cutting away the fur and down into the skin to really show that those musta hurt! I think my favorite ones are the ones on the muzzle <3
AND THEN THERE IS THAT FROG.....THAT....IS THE BEST FROG EVER.....EVER.....EEEEVVVER..
I do have to say that there is one thing that sorta bothers me with this picture and that is the backround...Its very well drawn and colored and at least you did put effort into making something..but it also feels sorta...cut off the way that you have the water just...stop. In a way it makes the backround just feel short, but then again maybe thats what you had ment to do. Either way I still love the effects of the water splashing and the how soft the grass looks. Looks like its a really nice place to be!
Im sorry that im making this a shorter comment than what I usually do, I just cant believe that I didnt comment on this sooner!..or more or less why it dissappeared out of my inbox like that Oo none the less, this is so beautifully done, youre traditional work amazes me every time I see it <3

THIS PICTURE DEFINITELY WOULDN'T BEEN COMPLETE WITHOUT THE FROG. THAT ARGUMENT WINS.
Lawl, I seem to have an obsession with drawing/coloring scars. 8D; Though I do agree that the whole background did looked a bit cut off. I know I already explained it over Skype but I figured I explained it here for other people to read as well. xD; It's mostly because there IS a sky there, but the scanner did a terrible job picking the blue and the white clouds up so it looks... blank. Not cool. But it's also because the person requested a partial background for 5 extra dollars so I can't really cover the whole background with the nature. I'm sorry this looked confusing. We'll just go with the idea that they're on a hilltop. xDD;

Mino looks so cute! I remember when you started this, you were debating about the markings on his tail. Anyways, about the picture:
The pose is wonderful, does a great job with the playful-summer (I AM FREE!!!!!!) *coughs* ahem, type of thing. I think the part of Mino that captures my attention the most is his eyes. I don't know if that was intended on part in the creation of the character, but his eyes are just so bright and carefree; they really add to the atmosphere of the overall picture, like he is just having the time of his life.
On the colors: Very summery, but also, if you need the help, I can show you a few ways to correct the colors in Photoshop so that your clouds on this picture will actually show up well.'
P.S.:
The frog is great, I love his eyes, he's a like: "WTF?!"
The frog should have a name too, however. I vote we call him....
