haven't done a ton of drawings for this oct yet, but it's totally still something i'm looking forward to! i had the first four of these drawn up already and finished them up today for shiggles.

i don't really think i'll be getting far enough in the tourney to get most of these guys, but they were fun to draw nonetheless. i feel like there's a super duper subtle theme here, CAN YOU GUYS GUESS IT HURR

i like how the houndour turned out the best. and he's one of my favorite potential teammates. elektrike is really weird to draw, not sure what to make of him.

I love how different you made each one of these, from different head shapes to body types. And your designs for each species are so durn good! That Elektrike looks boss, I like it a lot more then the original. C:

I believe the theme is no one is permitted a normal tail. It must be super fluffy or a stub.

y'know, you're kind of on to something there. i didn't even notice that! but then again the more i think about it that seems like how pokemon work, kinda. no normal tails allowed. fluffy, stubby, made of plants, or curly is the way they all wind up being. mind = blown.

thanks! i had fun picking their names. actually it was all pretty coincidental; once i thought about how apache was his first pokemon and his name started with an A, it just kind of fell into place from there.
