Here we go, a bit of the, ah...PROCESS after Wonderworks finds a suitable victim--er, unwilling volunteer? Unknowing employee? A means to an end? yeah. that. Basically, a unicorn gets found, and their magic gets turned into jewelry to be used....it's a whole ting shhh, shhhhhhh....

1. Wonderworks' goons often go around scouting for information, and also suitable unicorns. Frankly, he doesn't want just ANY unicorn. One that won't be missed too much, yet has magic, but....will also talk. Sometimes they'll bring in a few, and WW has to wipe their minds because they just don't fit his criteria.. Unfortunately for Bracer Britches, he fit this checklist. After a long conversation about the injustices of hierarchical society between sips of tea and the unicorn wriggling helplessly in his binds, it's time to hand him off to Vendetta in the magicproof room.

2. Always, ALWAYS, always, every time Vendetta meets a new customer, they start begging and weeping for her help. It was a bit flattering at first, but now she's annoyed and totally over it. Atlas gets them all strapped down while they spew their "you're like me, right?!" "aren't we together in this?!" "did he brainwash you or something?" which only contributes to her anger and willingness to crack their skulls open because....well, Vendetta has had far too many decisions made for her in her life, how DARE people accuse her of being brainwashed at this point? it pisses her off. but. she has the pliers, and she's gonna use 'em

3. So, breaking the horn mercilessly is not a fun process for anyone except Vendetta. The explosion of colors that comes out is incredible, as well as the deafening screams. It sends her back, it makes her disgustingly euphoric, puts her in an absolute state. Atlas is intruiged everytime how she can stand there laughing and carrying on, itching at her arms while he has to set up all the magic gathering equipment whilst everything bounces around the room.

4. Containing the magic is quite the process. It first has to be collected, in which it goes into a vile that the magic gets compressed through the wiggly tube, then that goes into the magic purifier/compactor which makes the magic into what looks like a gas but is actually a formidable solid/liquid/gas/plasma that will be smelted and contained into jewlery. This magic is just pure magic with no specifications, like how some unicorns have specific magic for gems, others have specific magic for spells, ect...this magic has no specialties, its just raw magic that can be mended by the user to have specificity. Atlas likes the process of getting the stuff into the cute ornaments whilst Vendetta comes down from her high stammering about all kinds of nonsense that he makes sure to remember because that's what friends do.

5. Time to hand off the goods to Wonderworks. Or...well, to his assistant, Ginger Ale. As Wonderworks' previous assistant, Atlas cannot help but be bitter and angry every time he sees him because holy shit, this guy is an asshole and he doesn't know how the boss does it. Sure, Atlas is fine working with Vendetta, but like....come on, he could do SO much better. Ginger Ale is entirely aware of Atlas hating him and couldn't give less of a shit and goes out of his way to be more of an asshole than usual when he's around. Vendetta doesn't see the tension, because usually she's checked out for the rest of the day after ripping a horn off...

6. Wonderworks doesn't dislike Vendetta, but he does seem to go out of his way to avoid talking to her alone. He heavily prefers having Atlas there as a mediator, because from what WW can tell, she's very standoffish and unpredictable when her service bug is not around. Still, he feels obligated to try and know all of his gang members one on one....especially since she's the only unicorn, and one of the few females, he feels he owes giving others the security of knowing that he has her under control. He offers her gifts, such as some of the magic, because he knows she has troubles with her own magic....but most times he tries to talk to her alone, she's either silent, violent, or absent. It's incredibly frustrating to him. Then again, they found her in a garbage bag on the side of the road barely able to speak and in desperate need of sobriety, so he can at least congratulate her for coming so far. Or he could TRY, and she would be weirdly offput and go to her tent or something. (yes i forgot vendettas scar....no i will not fix it)
