pretty self explanatory. I could get into the politics of all of it, but it's secondary to the people on both sides who are caught in the crossfire.Neither side is innocent.

I'm an American Jew and a rare "two-stater." I think that not only do Israelis and Palestinians both deserve their own state, but it is logically just the only thing to give them a snowball's chance in hell of peace.
Sadly a lot of Americans--at least in the part of the country I live in--are shockingly ignorant. They either think Israel is some evil empire out to destroy the Palestinians, or that all Palestinians are terrorists. They don't see Israelis or Palestinians as people, who go to school, have jobs, and don't all agree with their governments. Or maybe it's just that the average Wisconsinite can't fit too much into their noggin at any one given time, I don't know.

I will always support both countries! May there one day be peace in my homeland.

I'm so sick of people seeing Palestine being treated like the spurned stepchild and Israel being called "Israhell". In the "No More Ignorance" group here, "ignorance" tends to be subjective. We imply our own truths rather than thinking about what ignorance truly is. To me it's the very same hatred that we are trying to "prevent".

I wrote my history course work on this subject and found it a little irritating that you have to pick a side at the end of the essay or have marks taken away. It's a little ridiculous that children are being forced to take sides in this.
I have had phases where I've holy supported Palestine but now I really do feel like they've both become children in a play ground (albeit heavily armed children)
fighting because they both can't get what they want. I would love to see peace in the area and an end to the huge problems refugees have to deal with.

I won't go into the politics of it either, though I know which country is in the wrong. It's the people in the middle, the people more concerned with their daily bread than with fighting, who are suffering.
