Description I haven't given him a name yet. He might be a deified mortal who discovered how to measure time by watching the life cycle of plants like the one he holds in his hand. On this new version of the uwan homeworld, the planet is tidally locked around a red dwarf sun, so the sun doesn't move in the sky, leading to the use of other methods to tell time, like plant life cycles and burning incense. He holds a notched stick in one hand.

Not quite as intricate as some of your other designs, but that might be a good thing. Perfect for this sort of theme in my opinion. I actually like the idea you have for this entity as much as I liked the drawing. Maybe even more.

Thank you! I hope that's because you like the idea a lot, not because you don't like the design that much. It /is/ meant to be stylized, hence the relative lack of detail.

Oh! I didn't mean I didn't like the design much at all!! It's just different. And yes. I LOVE this idea. To imagine a world that didn't have a cycle like days and nights and need another way of telling time is just... It's incredible you came up with something like that. It's so outside of our normal... Bubble. In a sense.

Thanks! However, because of a world (or part of a world with no daytime, or night-time for the other side), I've been driving myself crazy with ways for them to have an equivalent of a "year" for a calendar, so something like "year 5163" would make sense.

Well, day and night are due to the planet spinning on it's axis, while a year is calculated by the planet revolving around it's sun. So you can still find a way to measure how many times it's revolved around it's sun I'd think... Unless it's one of those worlds that bounce between two suns. But then years would be how many times it bounced back and forth or something.

kool bro

Loving the little details and how cleancut it is. Definitely looks like an etching or something.
