Description
The tjassak is a popular pet on many worlds of the Uwan-Retk Diaspora, particularly among the aristocracy of the Melafyyran Empire. It combines the small size and good nature of a lap dog with the speed and hunting abilities of a falcon. The front pair of legs have been modified into raptorial claws for capturing prey and for defense.Related content

Ooooh, I love the way fur and leathery skin is incorperated here. Have the Uwan-Retk done what a lot of species do with domestic pets? And start altering breeding and genetics to get preferred colors or body types with the species? Or have they not been domesticated that long yet?

Thank you! And yes, they've altered and bred tjassak into different colors and types. And there are also feral tjassak, which are...Not pleasant. Imagine getting attacked by a pack of Yorkie or Cocker Spaniel-sized flying things with sharp claws.
