Hey, thanks for the lovely comment! I was trying to make her clothes not too period specific, and also since she was this goblin's prisoner for a long time, I didn't want them to be too fancy-- the kind of thing he would throw at her through the window. But yeah, I wanted to stay away from the cliche "slashed puffy sleeves" beloved by Disney.

That is SO epic. Rapunzel looks like she's far from being a helpless damsel-in-distress in this retelling. I would be afraid if I were that goblin!
You did a great job making this dark and forboding while still keeping the fairytale quality.

Yes, the goblin is pretty nasty. You know, this was the first time I've ever painted a creature-- it was a bit weird doing a non-human skin tone!
