Description

Transitioning from Feinting Spells to Beat, Prey, Love necessitated a redesign of each character in the story. I wanted everyone to be at least a little different than they had been. More fun to write. More fun to draw. More fun to imagine. Unfortunately, it was hard to let go of some of the cast's old designs. In the case of Simone and Jamila, I wanted one more artwork with their old designs as I figured out how to redesign them for BPL.

As you can see, both girls kept their overall color schemes in the transition.

And I figured that if I was gonna change their designs a little bit, I might as well get something more... exaggerated.
