Ok, Jaz is now a human. Why is that, you ask?

Jaz has slowly evolved through the years, going from a Tails-hand-me-down, to a mixture between Kingdom Hearts meets Naruto meets Sonic.

As he evolved and his story became more intriguing, I wanted to find him a form that was unique. I tried multiple times to alter his form, or test out concepts for other races, but nothing seemed to work.

Then I went and saw Ponyo. I was fascinated by Sasuke, Ponyo's friend, who had a nicely shaped head and traditional yet messy haircut.

As I was driving home, I thought, "...That might work for Jaz".

So it did.

While I do miss the fox-form, this human style seems to suit the series concept perfectly. He's meant to be one of the last of his kind, and being a human among furry animals felt befitting.

He's different, a human being among furry beings. Through his journey and experiences, he would become friends with various people, and find that in the end, everyone is not so different.
