Description
So I never did join PKMN Crossing back in the day, even though I discovered it before its first opening. I guess I never joined cause it was before I had my tablet and I just had a huge lack of self confidence anyways- But regardless, I ended up meeting a ton of people from Crossing anyways, and forged a lot of really strong friendships with a few of the members, so when I saw this group pop up I decided to give it a shot. For the group that I never had the confidence to join y'know.

Lexie is a girl that always has a smile on her face, and is always willing to socialize with people. In fact, she thrives off socialization. However, she’s obnoxious and personal space doesn’t mean much to her, even if you’re a stranger. She’s incredibly confident, but a lot of the time she’s overconfident, which leads to her getting herself in bad situations. One thing she is though at least is determined. If she sets her mind on something, it’s literally impossible to get her mind off it until it’s complete. This is one of the few times she can push people away, but she’s usually back to bothering people after she gets things done. She doesn’t like the idea of altering her general spoiled personality to make other people like her. She figures that if she has friends, that they’ll like her for the way she naturally is without having to cover anything up. She likes to think she’s incredibly important, which fuels her cocky attitude. At the very least she doesn’t have a holier than thou mindset, and just tends to like to remind people about how amazing she is. She tends to throw childish tantrums if things don’t go her way.

History:

Born in Castelia City as a Purrloin, Lexie was pretty much spoiled rotten by her parents. Her dad was a shiny Diggersby and a high up executive of a real estate branch, while her mother was a stay at home Liepard. Due to the large amount of money they had, they lived in an incredibly fancy flat up near the top of one of Castelia’s numerous tall skyscrapers. Lexie never really realized how spoiled she was, but if she wanted something, her dad would usually get it for her no matter what it was. This would range from new dresses, to pets (that she could never really take care of properly), to new TVs to watch cartoons on. She didn’t have many friends growing up, and those that did try to befriend her only usually tried to use her for her money. She was generally just too spoiled for anyone to want to hang around, considering she was very, very bad at listening to other people and doing what they wanted to do. It was always me, me, me with her. Her parents never thought much of this either considering her father was always busy, and her mother never really saw anything that COULD be wrong, since Lexie was always so happy. Not to say her parents were bad, they took good care of Lexie, but perhaps gave her a bit too much freedom in what she did all the time.

However, one day as she was heading home from school she was struck by a car in a hit and run. Considering how small she was and the speed the driver was driving at, she was pretty much killed instantly before she could even be taken to the hospital. Her parents were beyond devastated at what happened and blamed themselves for giving her too much freedom. It didn’t take too long for her to become a ghost though, a Frillish to be exact. She was overjoyed at her second chance at life, not seeming all too phased about being a ghost just yet. Her parents were overjoyed as well, but decided they were going to keep a better eye on their daughter just in case anything else happened to her. Their idea of keeping an eye on her though slowly became overwhelming and stifling for Lexie. She couldn’t walk home from school alone anymore, even in high school, she was stuck with a curfew, she wasn’t allowed to hang out with friends unless her parents had met them first, and the list just kept going. Lexie hated it. The accident she was in happened so many years ago, yet her parents still refused to budge with how strict they’d become. Once she graduated high school though, she decided she was going to pack her things and head out on her own. She wanted to be independent. Naturally, her parents refused, not wanting their beloved only daughter to go out in the world again by herself and have something equally awful happen to her. It infuriated Lexie enough that she got in a large fight with her parents, saying that she was an adult now and that she could do what she pleased with her life, and she wasn’t going to let them control her any longer. With that being said she simply just…left home. She packed her things and didn’t come back. At that point she didn’t care what her parents said, she just wanted to live her life the way she wanted to.

Lexie moved around from town to town for a couple years, forever glad that her parents at least helped her keep her bank account topped up so she could find a place to settle down. She wondered if they finally saw things her way, or if that was their only way they could keep her safe anymore, she wasn’t exactly sure. Eventually though she stumbled across a new town to settle down in. It was a bit run down, but for some reason she saw potential in it. Maybe a chance to make new friends too!
