JumpPad is a Windows version of Apple's new LaunchPad.
It makes use of HotCorners for showing the programs that you have installed on your machine.
The "Groups" feature is not added in, because I find it some what useless. If I wanted JumpPad to show groups, I would have it simply show the folders in the Start Menu.
Anyway, several configuration options are available. JumpPad was developed on an x64 Machine, but is an x86 program. This was done to maintain compatibility with all machines.
JumpPad is multi-monitor aware, and it will only work on the Main Screen, that is, the monitor that has the Windows 7 taskbar on it.

Freeware. Windows Vista and Higher, Aero enabled is mandatory. Sorry non-Aero users and XP users.
JumpPad will be integrated in to Harmony. This is just a "JumpPad Only" release.

While it will only get the "normal" icons (as how i dont know how make use of Assigned, or Extended, i cons), you can atleast assign the in-app icons, AKA, the left hand side.
If your using a global icon changer it may get the changed icons, if not, well, i have no idea. Sorry.

Ran the executable, but nothing happens. Tried again as administrator, nothing happens, but process exists...??!!

after you run the app you have to move the mouse to the top left hand corner to activate the hotspot.

Sadly, a Tablet user told me they had issues with this... I was so hoping that this would make tablet useage very cool. ah well, more work
But I have it on by default for now. Much easier to get to start menu items now, no clicking needed!

Think it works like it should but the setting for changing icon size is missing. I would use this daily if I could add/remove and choose for myself what icons it should display like a shortcut bar but with this great effect. Another thing I noticed is that I get 3 of the same icons. Great work! Really appreciate work like this! Really helps us customizers think outside the box.

You just need to re-download. the Change Icon size option is there.

The Change Icon size should be there...let me check the download. Could be that my internet hiccuped when i was uploading the new .zip. If you get three of the same icon then it's because you have it installed in different places. I have the same thing myself, i have three Firefoxes on my sysem from different betas that i forgot about.
As far as specific icons and such ... that is coming soon.

Will probably included it in the litestep theme I am currently working on (or a variation of it anyway) it's rather simple and not a real app just a litestep script unlike yours.

All it does is pop up a Microsoft.NET framework error.
Windows 7 Home Premium x64.
Even right-clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator" still pops up the error.
Could it be due to the fact I am on a touchscreen? Or would that have nothing to do with it?

it is ment to track the cursor... If you can post the top message from the error report (before the ---------'s) I can figure out whats going wrong, and where at.

Hey, I have a suggestion! Would it be possible to integrate the use of more than one folder? Example, have one hot corner do exactly what you are doing by default, but have another corner be set to show the Control Panel. I think that would be pretty handy, even if it ended with that. Just an idea.

Thats a great idea! I will see if i can have it in the next release. In theory, it's a simple addition of a few more Screen Corner Select boxes... Or i can use a pop-up menu to show when you choose a corner, and you tell it what folder you want.
Should I just use the standard folders, say, Start Menu, Documents, Pictures, etc... ? Oh! keep in mind this app only grabs the icons... So you wont see a picture's thumbnail ... although i know a way around that... But I really have no idea how to grab a Video file's thumbnail.. must google it...
Anyway! Enough rambling! Great idea!

Well, not drag and drop ... Or mabey i could do so. I can add in that you can specify more folders, and what wildcard to look for... But thats pretty much Harmony in Screen mode does.

I'm cool with standard or just system folders like the control panel, but I'm sure someone else will request more, haha. You'd probably be better off beating them to the punch.

The main reason for this is that until i can find a way to convert Icon graphics to SVG, they will all look stretched and pixelated past a certain size. That is actually the exact reason why no more Harmony builds have been released, bad graphics stretching.
