I really love the scenes with this character in the 1978 movie. I'm currently reading the book, but I haven't watched the new miniseries. Do you guys think it might be worth watching? Based on the trailer and other things that I've seen, it doesn't look like it has any of the violence and scariness of the original movie, which is honestly a bit of a deal breaker for me.

This was mostly inspired by the Bright Eyes music scene, where the colourful visuals show a rabbit dying and then returning to nature. I love the themes of death and the circle of life, shown as natural and almost peaceful with an undertone of darkness.

The rabbit anatomy here probably isn't the best, but hopefully it's at least passable. Honestly I've gained a newfound respect for these animals through Watership Down.

Im reading "Watership down" and the first thing I thought about was the terrifying Inlé. The novel is beautiful, with passages of great melancholy, it even becomes terrifying. It was written by Richard Adams. I saw the film when I was very small and it made me very scared

I just recently got into leadership down. I binge watched the Netflix series and the original series and I want to read the book and watch the original movie. It's so good and your art is very very good and gives off such a spooky sorta vibe.

More violence =/= better movie. I don’t like when people misjudge the miniseries only because there’s less blood. Unfortunately, I have seen some reviews like this. I think it’s worth to see. Tbh I didn’t like the art style of original movie (I have seen a few scenes) but I found the new one quite appealing although animation could be better. Give it a try! ^^

You should give the original a try; the Netflix/BBC version changed a lot more than the visuals (character gender, character personalities, added more romance, pacing etc.)

I agree, blood or the lack of it doesn't make or break a movie, it's just that I have a special fascination with stuff that's both animated and has nightmarish or gory imagery in it. That's just my own taste. If I end up watching the miniseries, if it's good I'll probably like it regardless of my preferences ^^

I know, I just don’t like when people see it as the only factor. I hope you’ll have a nice experience then ^^

Nice Drawing!^^

Btw, the mini series has less violence than the Movie, but it's still really good!
