Thanks; the crest is cut from regular parchment, and glued down onto blue fancy craft paper with bits of gold strings woven into it (not sure the brand name, as it was years ago).

I never got beyond the snow-flakes in first grade. This is truly amazing. Not just the actuall cutting, but the overall design. I love it!

That's impressive work. I've done some basic cutting for a couple posters and more then once wanted to tear the paper into little bitty pieces. Something like this would probably make me want to tear my hair out at some point. Is it a specific crest or something you came up with?

Thanks for all the comments, and yes, it takes tiny, very sharp scissors (those kind shaped like a stork are most often used), or an X-Acto knife, which I use.

Did you do this one by folding it in half and cutting out one side, or did you do one side at a time?
