Jet focused on the ridiculously delicate yet deadly sharp knife hovering scant centimeters from his face and did not doubt she could carry out her unvoiced threat without hesitation.

He had made rags of her afore-mentioned wardrobe, after all.

'So... now what?' he asked himself.

I proudly present my new (crack!)OTP: JET AND MEI! (or May or Mai or... freak, is there an official spelling?)

I have no idea what put this pairing in my head, but it's there to stay. Basically, my justification is that they are scarily similar enough to have chemistry: Jet was willing to sacrifice a village of innocent people to wipe out some Fire Nation soldiers, while Mei was willing to sacrifice her little brother in order to keep hold of a valuable political prisoner. (o-0) Scary, scary girl.

How do they meet? Well, Jet was trying to assasinate Azula (you know he'd try, if he had the chance), and Mei stopped him. There will be more on this.

P.S. - My little sister/muse first assumed I had drawn two guys fighting. I almost let it go.
