I don't usually look at Jai (Jet/Mai) pics, but I like the pairing...anything that keeps Mai away from Zuko. Good job!

I don't mind Maiko, really. I did at first, but only because I didn't like Mai. Now that I've started this project, I like her more, because her character has so much potential.

She's just so impassive she gets on my nerves. To me, Maiko is as bad as Kataang. Grrr!!! Personally, I think when Mai smiled at the mention of Zuko, it was only to smile at memories. She knew when she joined Azula that she was out to capture and perhaps kill Zuko and Iroh, and yet, unlike Ty Lee, Azula didn't have to coerce Mai in anyway to enlist her help. Those are MY thoughts, anyway.

I think she's smart enough not to try and gainsay Azula. I believe when it comes down to Zuko's life, she'll step in. I just hope they don't have her do something stupid, like sacrifice herself for him.

Well, as much as I hate character death, that wouldn't bother me a great deal. I mean, it'd be sad, and I hope they don't do that, but I'll live if they do. She may still think of Zuko as a friend, but nothing more, I don't think. You're right though, she might step in when it comes down to his life...although she didn't hesitate to sacrifice her little brother to keep King Bumi. Grrr.
