Prints available skadj.deviantart.com/journal/4…For the Girltripped contest. I'd been wanting to draw this one on black paper for a while then saw the contest start and I actually have time to draw atm

Prismacolor colored pencils and derwent pastel pencils on black paper, ~7 hours, 15x27cm.
Little story that this one will remind me of now- was complaining to a boy I like that I couldn't find a good name of a black flower to title this (the makeup reminds me of flowers). Later he came back saying "Hey, look what I found on the way to dinner" and holding a black pansy. Normally I cringe at flowers as a gift, but that was pretty cool ^^

I love that you did this on black paper - I've been wanting to try that as well The white really pops and adds a nice highlight and contrast from the black. I also love the colors you added to her eyelashe, it really brings the focus there. I think there's juste a little problem oof light for her forehead. The round's light is so much big that her forehead seems to be domed.
