96: In the Storm

I did this one a couple of days ago, once I could actually sit up straight for a while, and it was a cold, rainy day. Flipping trhough the list of themes, this one definitely struck me at once, because of the crappy weather outside - not exactly storm, but still crappy and rainy.

Well, what makes someone feel better in the rain? How about a bright colored jacket, just for the heck of it. And, matching shoes. And your iPod playing music you like, while walking around.

Don't know if I really like it for the theme - I've thought of a couple of more costume-y designs, so this one may have more than one submission for this theme, we'll just have to wait and see.

I want a trench coat like this, badly.

Also, first time doing one of these in something other than pencil and then cleaning it up a bit and recoloring. Sharpies - oh yeah!

And forgive my bad rain effect, but it really helped, I think.
