A leather journal from the binge of them I've been making lately.This one is a more rustic, almost blend between Steampunk and Japanese. It has a mon (crest) of three sakura flowers, with the kanji for "author" (cho) below it, as it's meant to be more of a writers journal. Across the back, there are sakura flowers and petals scattered.
It was dyed and then antiqued a deep brown, and then over the top of that, there is a light glaze of silver that sits in the crevices and adds a bit of shimmer to it, when seen in the right light.

This is probably one of my favorites of all the journals! It's absolutely beautiful!
And I'm totally ordering one any day now. I managed to make my father's fiancΓ© fall in love with some of the rings, so we gave my father some puppy dog eyes and are now allowed to borrow his Visa card. And a huge plus is that we even managed to make him say he'd pay for it all. Oh joy
