**Updated 3/5/16 with Silver and more Dino Super Drive armors**

Some of the best news regarding PR during Comic-Con (for me) was seeing the Dino Drive suits in greater detail. I watched the Dino Charge panel and that was actually interesting, but afterwards, the core five ranger suits came out in the heavily armored (Super?) Dino Drive armor. We also got a new trailer which showed us very quickly a wide cockpit shot with eight rangers (all on top except Aqua) which helped to confirm what Purple and Graphite would look like with the armor.

So on top is the Dino Drive armor for (from left to right) Silver, Purple, Black, Blue, Gold, Red, Pink, Green, Graphite, and Aqua Dino Charge rangers. It's a cool little upgrade, presumably for the cockpits only...until it isn't...and just gives everyone a protective chestplate. The battery design is kinda cool, and through a couple close up shots, it became apparent that there was a little bit of a texture to 'em, so I included that as well. What's weird is that form the brief shots of footage it looks like they kept Gold's wrist changer on his left arm rather than give him the same spiked gauntlet; I like that actually, it's just kinda weird too.

In the middle are the six main rangers (Black, Blue, Gold, Red, Pink, and Green) in the further upgraded Dino Super Drive armor. On the bottom are the extra four rangers, (Silver, Purple, Graphite, and Aqua) in the same armor. This armor is a little bit over the top with all the plates and spikes, but I guess it's cool enough. What I don't like is the lack of mouthplates in the visors, it just looks strange and too empty. What's funny though is that the designers practically took the silver form the mouthplates and placed it on the top of the helmets and around the eyes. So inventive! But then it's weird because Gold gets the more individualized with the thunderbolt-like lines whereas the core pretty much have the same three lines at slightly different lengths. Sure, it makes it even more apparent Gold is the extra, but it's just an odd choice to me.

Now we actually haven't seen anything about Aqua yet other than stock footage from Kyoryuger. As such, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed about a female suit rather than male. If/when I'm proven wrong, I'll change the picture accordingly. In the same vein, the quick shot in the cockpit showed Graphite with the same yellow battery piece as the core five, so I've gone ahead and kept the matching accent colors for him rather than bronze-ish color. The toys seem to indicate he'll have the bronze accent, and some of the footage does as well, so it's confusing that the footage has his Dino Drive armor with the core's yellow. We'll see if there's some explanation about that.

Further, there has yet to be any footage of Silver or Talon in these armors. And since I don't like guesswork, I'm holding off on making those until there are actual images/footage of them in this armor. It would make sense for Silver's to pretty much just be repainted gold, but Talon would be interesting with his big ol' spine/fins.
