She tends to fall into habit of calling others by various pet names, depending on if she likes you or not. She doesn't take too kindly to outsiders, deeming them an automatic threat to her pack.   Build: On the larger spectrum for her age and gender, Ceres has a lean, muscled build. Most of her muscle resides in her upper body, taking after her father. The rest of her body is of her mother, as that it is feminine and smooth. Slender legs and a skinny, "pointed" face. Exposed canines.

  Pelt: The ginger she-wolf has much of her coloration in thanks from her father. She's a generally thick pelted wolf year round, mainly around her neck and tail, but during the winter her whole form becomes quite the fluffy mess. Not that you'll ever catch her complaining.

  Eyes: Seemingly colorless yet is said to be able to cut through the soul of the most fearsome creature. They hardly ever change, only ever growing darker with anger and lighter with happiness.

They say life is only as great as you make it.. but what happens when curve balls are constantly being thrown in your direction no matter what you do to evade them? Do you succumb to the whirlpool of negativity and accept reality as a cruel and meaningless aspect? Or do you rise above the hardships to be the very best version of you, that you could possibly be? Questions like these have constantly swarmed the young Ceres' mind when left to wander. And yet, she has yet to receive an answer.



Born to two wolves in the Howahkan pack, Kyrel a well respected guard and Athena, one of the packs healers, Ceres was born into a comfortable life where she was spoiled from a young age. At first it was she and her sister, Terra. They were inseparable, always seen playing outside their den from morning until dusk. Their parents doted on them when they weren't working for the pack. When both were on duty, the two pups were left with a couple of elders for the day. Life was as perfect as one could possibly imagine. They had two loving parents, no responsibility, a pack and home over their heads and most importantly; they had each other.

For a while, the two sisters had nothing to worry about. And as each day past they each grew more and more. With a growing body came a growing consciousness of their surroundings. Soon they'd begin to learn a trade as to aid them in choosing a task one day. Being the more dominant and headstrong of the two, Ceres naturally chose to take apprenticeship under her father in hopes of becoming a guard one day. Terra on the other hand had always admired her mothers work along with the other healers and thus she began training in the medicinal field. Although their personality had long since began to shine through, their differences only made them bond more and while related by blood they long since viewed each other as best friends. Ceres would do anything and everything in her power to protect her sister from danger, she was devoted to such a cause. It was Terra that motivated her to become a guard, after all.

It was under the moon of their birth anniversary that something suddenly when terrible wrong. Ceres had been out practicing a few techniques her father had been teaching her when a fellow packmate was sent to retrieve and return her to her family den. In a hurry, Ceres sprinted back home and skidded to the stop just inside the den. Panting and out of breath, her silver eyes quickly scanned the dimly lit space until it fell upon her sister. Worriedly, Ceres turned to her father while her mother worked on evaluating Terra. Having the new break that her sister had become ill all of the sudden had all but nearly knocked the wind from Ceres. How.. She had been fine just this morning! What could have happened in the hours since then? Unfortunately, no one was able to come up with hours.

Whatever had plagued Terra, worked it course rapidly and while her mother was great she was no miracle worker. Ceres stayed with her for 3 days straight, refusing to leave her side for a minute not even letting herself sleep in fear something bad would happen. Despite this, at the end of the third day Terra passed into the land of the nonliving. Taking her last breath, Ceres was found sobbing over her lifeless corpse by her mother and father -whom had to quite literally pry their grief-stricken daughter of their now dead daughter. To say it was a difficult day for them was putting it lightly. And what made matters worse, no one could give Ceres the answers she so desperately seeked most of all. What illness could spread that fast to kill her sister? Her mother, whether she was hiding the truth or not refused to tell her anything other than she did all that she could to save her. After that day the two were longer as close as they once were.

Instead of letting the grief of her loss be shown to the public, Ceres drowned herself in her lessons. Her father wanted her to take a break, but she refused. She had to do this, if not for herself, then Terra. It was the least she could do for if she failed at protecting her sister, then she had to try her best to protect her pack. She had to.

If her sisters demise was hard enough, the night before her second birth anniversary, her mother and father was no where to be seen. When she awoke the next morning, Ceres searched everywhere for them, but no one claimed to have seen them since the evening before. Their disappearance was unexplained and although a search was quickly conducted, their whereabouts remain unknown to this very day. Many consider them dead along with Terra, but Ceres believes otherwise. They wouldn't leave her alone.. Would they?

Haunted by two unfortunate events in a short amount of time, Ceres remained focused on her lessons on her own. Without her father to teach her she would have to find a new teacher. Until then, she was left to her own devices.. Thoughts filled with life altering questions taking up residence all the while she hid her fragile state from her pack. She refused to be the helpless burden.

Many things have happened since the death of Terra and the disappearance of her parents. Ceres met new wolves, one of whom became her best friend and someone trusts with her life. After the fires struck and war came to the swamps doorstep, Ceres missed out on fighting alongside her brothers and sisters with is a constant burden on her shoulders. She feels as though she has failed her pack. Failed herself. This was just the beginning of a string of disappearances, one of which she was missing for nearly 3 months. Her father was behind this one and since the two have become estranged and the former Beta of Howahkan no longer in the marshes. Ceres is determined to take on the ranks of the Awoo' all the while seeking answers to her sisters and mothers mysterious death and what her father has to do with it all. Why he is stalking her..
