Description
This was the first conceived of the group of Digimon. The Fire elemental was the easiest to draw, because Piximon's evolutions were the most human. Ravimon starts towards a more bestial trend (tho all the final evolutions are VERY human-like).Ravimon and her evolutions are based on Air and Wind. This lead me down an unexpected path towards the end, but I'm very happy with the outcome of making her more armoured instead of the traditional interpretations of it.
Ravimon - Based loosely off a normal raven. This is her started form. 'Nuff said.
Harpimon - I really love how this version came out. Based off the Mythological Harpies, I altered it to keep the same sort of raven head that Ravimon had and covered her with feathers.
Corvumon - Corvu is short for Corvus, which is the latin genus name for crows and ravens. This was the character design that actually started this entire idea, tho not the pose. A winged raven with armour and a kite shield & short sword. Almost like a dark angel....

I like Harpimon the most, something about her look is just really enticing. And I'd love to see more work with Harpimon

Actually I don't recall. I didn't do the art for those tales, and honestly I don't remember the specific picture in question. O.o

I'd personally love to have this bird Digimon over Biyomon any day, about a hundred times more badass by far.

I mentioned before that you have a great ability to make reptile anthros look good. Well you have that same effect with avian anthros as well. Very lovely.
I don't know if you were inspired by this at all, but I'm seeing some Sophitia or even Cassandra from Soul Calibur in the Corvumon form. Either way, I like the concept.

I ended up using a LOT of the lessons I learned from drawing the Hissi in Ravimon there. Ravimon & Harpimon have the head design, while Harpimon & Corvumon have the body design (with the hips swayed way back) from the Hissi. So it elped a good bit.
And while Cassandra & Sophitia weren't directly inspiring for Corvumon, I can see the similiarity.

If I ever were in a Digimon-world, I'd want this to be my digimon (with digivolutions).

Thanks. This is, ironically, the Digi I had in mind when I started this whole idea, and the one I brainstormed for myself (Then remembered their partners were always kids, so I gave it to a kid version of Tasha
