I've briefly mentioned that I'm making an AU for MLP. I have characters planned and drawn but I wanted to make these two the first I show off. The deities of Bara no Tara; Father Creator, Partum, and Mother Nature, Vita.
STORY:
Legend says there is a great stallion whose mane and tail are made from the vastness of space. He has no physical body of flesh and bone. Creation comes Life. This stallion became lonesome, so he created a wife. But she was made of flesh and bone, so she had to stay separate from him on a planet. On this planet, she created the oceans and lands. The stallion created animals and the three tribes of ponies on the planet so his wife would not be lonely. Eventually, the stallion and mare had Alicorn children; A son and a daughter. The son brought the light of day for his father while the sister brought the darkness of the night. Thus creating time and balance to the world. Creation comes life, but with life, comes death. The daughter not only would swallow the world in darkness each night, but she would bring the black blanket of death to ponies. The son would guide the ponies who had passed away with his light, guiding them to the heavenly paradise to be reborn. Creation comes life, but with life, comes death and with Death comes Rebirth. The daughter eventually became corrupt with power, unleashing an army of the undead, and throwing the world off balance. To protect the world and stop his sister, the brother sacrificed himself; causing both children to be lost in time. Except the two were only lost for a short period of time, with the son's power, both were reborn into new mortal bodies. Every time the rulers would die, they would be reincarnated into new bodies. Forever ruling their kingdom; Bara no Tara. The spirits of the children forever being inside the current rulers.
