"Untitled" - Bound Series. Mixed Media on top of an Etching.What is fun about this piece is that the smokey grey in the background was just an accident. The residue from the plate wasn't cleaned up from before hand and it created this awesome crackle effect that was transferred over. Wish I could do that again. Worth exploring!

This is just beautiful, I love the imagery and the very subtle birds in the cage of her torso (it took me a while to see them.) I'm curious about one thing: you wrote that this is "mixed media on top of an etching." I've done itaglio printmaking, so I'm trying to figure out how you did, or which part, the etching is? I'm intrigued. I've always wanted to experiment with prints, but now I'm out of college and away from a studio. Work like this makes me miss it. Thank you for sharing it!

I really like the colours in this! Her hair has such fun texture! I really love her profile-her features are so cute and soft! the background texture is especially nice and I like how her back is "breaking" it looks cool

The concept is really intriguing. I like the mottled effect of the pink on the skin, and the birds emerging from the girl. What a lucky accident :]

Wow. That is gorgeous. The crackle effect really does look nice! ^-^ She's also very realistically drawn (anatomically speaking) and that's great, because alot of artists now aren't very realistic in portraying the female form. Bravo! +fav'd
