Title and lyrics shamelessly cribbed from the ending credits song from The Princess Bride (absolutely one of my favorite movies ever). I actually decided to use it for a title when I uploaded the file and thought the thumbnail makes it look like a page from an old book.
I guess these Victorian corner brushes are my new obsession now. They give everything such a nice finishing touch.

Very touching, and quite raw emotionally - I kind of get the feeling they're exposing each other's souls to each other here. It reminds me a lot of the pose of them you got commissioned to do by the nice woman at the art festival you drew at.

It is a little reminiscent of that pose, isn't it? Man, all my poses are so similar. I think I was telling someone that I actually did THIS EXACT POSE before from another angle (it's in one of the R/F sketchdumps). I just really like it.

X) I don't kid myself into thinking this sort of thing is totally "finished", but it can definitely pass for it sometimes. I'm content with doing the easy stuff for now. :3

LOL I know exactly what you mean. I've drawn Kieger and Liamh in so many different scenarios. But it's fantastic practice when you can trust the characters you're drawing to cooperate! That way you can practice with all sorts of different aspects of your art C:

It really is! Some of my others are just too complicated for me to draw "casually", so there isn't nearly as much pose variation.

I'm running out of things to say about these kinds of pictures, because they're just stunning every time. Rian really does look gorgeous, so very trusting and open. The way Farael is placing her hand over his heart, too, is a really lovely gesture. And nnh the folds of the cloth are wonderful.

No, I didn't mean it like that! D: They aren't boring at all, I think they're lovely. It takes a lot of skill to draw a genuinely emotional piece of artwork and have it look so loving and intimate with simple touches and gazes. I can't get enough of them, they always make me smile and feel a little fuzzy inside, honestly. Dx *fails*
