Shading is easy enough, just one deeper tone than the base colour. When I do shadows I imagine the sun is in the top left hand corner of the page so they fall on the opposing side.

Yep, that's easy enough. I did it for Snowys shrug , you don't have to shrink it as the picture fits full as the icon without needing adjustment.
