Men in 1912 had a saying 'Women belong in one place and one place only! In the home barefoot,pregnant with children! They do NOT belong in our world! They have their world and we have ours. I see it not changing anytime soon.'
Excuse me?! The following year WWI broke out! I lost half of my family tree to that war and a few decades later in the 30's and 40's I lost another chunk of my family tree to WWII and the Korean/Vietnam Conflict and another chunk in the 90's to Desert Storm and another chunk these days to the war in Iraq! Yeesh by the time they come home IF they come home there'll be no one left! Soo back to the point what were the women doing during the two world wars and the conflicts? Oh yes RUNNING THE HOUSE,GOING TO WORK,WELDING,CREATING PARACHUTES,MAKING THE VEHICLES THAT WERE SENT TO THE MEN ON THE FRONT LINES. What thanks did the lady next door to grams get when her husband came home on leave? She got the hell knocked out of her,two black eyes,a split lip,bloody nose and forced to have sex when she was 8 1/2 months pregnant with his twelfth child.

She divorced him,took him for every last penny he had including his hidden Swiss bank accounts that her private investigator tracked down. So by the time the divorce was final and legalized he was down to his last $4,000.00 all his hidden bank accounts were tracked down and drained all monies went into his ex-wife's account and accounts for all his children and he was not permitted to file for partial custody as he was an alcoholic and very abusive not a very good influence to his children so he wasn't granted his request.
