But i have one critical veiw on the "time" which you stated the sketch.
correct me if i'm wrong but this is an indian woman who is trying to assissinate....a crusader?? the crusades are between -1096- till - the 1290s- ...and colombus hadn't discovered america at that time
so...an indian and crusaders?
plus (if it's not an indian and you are hinting on some other native...they didn't look like that)

Those guys should be more blured and desadurated, so that the whole pic would have some space.

I would say she is a escaped Harem girl, but then the two feathers throw me off and I think Indian maiden, which conflicts with her braw.

I think you should have used fur instead of silk or just gone with nothing for true realism.

Well she could have just escaped and still wearing Euopean clothing. The feathers in her hair could have been stuck there as a partial transition to her natural enviroment. To make that clear I would put the nest close by.
