Personality: Rain is an experienced mare who has seen a lot and met many friends and foes during her lifetime. She is friendly and courteous, but slow to actually trust and love. Purple Rain demands attention and affection, but doesn't really give back. She is an emotional sponge, taking in the feelings around her but not really reacting to them in a meaningful way.

Guarded but never hostile, Rain enjoys company but doesn't form bonds easily. Sometimes seems to be lost in thought or sad - maybe she misses the friends she used to have in past homes. Her experiences have not made her bitter or jaded, but careful and very appreciative of the few friends she allows herself to have.

Can be a bit of a trickster, knows all the tricks to get the rider into trouble. Knows how to get off easy and avoid work, as well. With a determined and goal oriented rider Rain is a very smooth ride and especially well suited for riders who want to practice their own communication skills and work a horse from ground-up.

Rain is a rather submissive mare, and is finding her place in the mid tier of the hierarchy. She is socially skilled enough to get along with others, but lack the confidence and will to become one of the top mares.

X Bitless riding recommended with this one, has a very soft mouth
X Bucks when frustrated or excited
X Likes foals, and can sometimes "loan" them from other mares
