Description I've been developing my Godlings characters bit by bit, and most recently I've been sketching busts of them to work out their primary features and colors.  I'll be posting them here, proof that I really do make art! ...just not finished art very often.  These character busts were meant to give me a reason to design the various minor characters that appear in Godlings, but also as an exercise to practice making distinctly different faces, something that I know a lot of comic artists struggle with, especially when it comes to pretty women.  These do not take into account full costumes that they might be wearing; they're just the base character, for my reference.

Most of the busts I've done so far are women, therefore.  I will eventually be getting to all the male faces as well.  And of course the Egyptians with their animal heads are a whole other issue.

And here is the first of those pesky animal-headed Egyptians! I drew her down to the torso in order to work out her head-to-body proportions.  I would have shown you full boobage, but then I would have had to slap a *gasp!* MATURE tag on it!  And I knew your delicate Deviant eyes would never withstand such a thing.

(If that isn't the most sarcasm I've ever written into a single sentence, I don't know what is.)

(EDIT: I've updated the file here, and now it no longer shows past the bust, so the previous snarky does not apply.)

Sekhmet, as I stated under Hathor, is the bloodthirsty goddess that Hathor becomes.  She takes over Hathor fairly early in Chapter 1, and stays present for most of the fighting/confrontation that ensues.

Minor recommendation here, that is the body of a model not a warrior. Try thickening the arms mainly and what little you can see of the waist, perhaps adding more muscle tone in the waist/abs as seen in the three warrior woman here:

Oh, she'll be toned, never fear.  I was focused on the face and proportions, mostly.  But she'll be lean, not built.  Lionesses don't exactly lift, you know? Thanks for the reference, though!
