Nice concept, it REALLY is, but the base of the skirt in the shadow is forming a horrible tangent with the line of her shoulders. You can get away with lengthening the legs of the shadow a little to get the bulk of the shadow figure clear of the woman casting it. Also: not sure why HER left hand is in shadow, but it makes it look like part of the actual shadow, so I'd draw it in properly. Don't know the ins and outs of the proposed comic, but wouldn't it make more sense if the gun the shadow is holding had a more flintlock-y feel?

Thanks for the input. I may change some of it based on your feedback. I think I agree with all of it. I even like the flintlock idea (though I'll have to ask the writer about that). I may lengthen the dress (though I don't want to black out the character, that's the tricky part. I may use some reflective light on the hand. Anyway, thanks for the comment..see this is why I practice and I like good feedback! Thanks.

Changes made. However, I left the gun as is since I wasn't sure a shadow would translate well as a flintlock at the angle it's shadowed (from slightly above) and it'd probably look like she's holding a banana lol.
