Description This is the doll I completed right after Bambi, Firepaw from Erin Hunter's Warriors series. I am actually still pretty proud of this cutie! He is even more poseable and is pretty expressive given my eyes I had perfected through several trial runs. He is made completely from pipecleaners save for my special eyes and his floof of hair, which is carded and straightened yarn. I painted his stripes on with a copic marker. I made another one of him (that turned about a little bigger and with slightly different proportions as each of these dolls is completely unique) that I will be listing to sell once I get my etsy shop up and running if anyone is interested. This one is not for sale.

Can you do an instruction video on how to make these? What are the eyes made from?

Hopefully someday I will have a spare moment to, as with my job and school the chances of me taking on a project like that would be slim. I got my start with the Klutz how to book for kids and then used the basic idea but altered it for more realistic looking figures. If you search online you might find some good tutorials.

The basic idea is to create the armature for the body, limbs, tail and head, and then bulk them up by wrapping and weaving the stems around that until you have the desired anatomy. Other details I added on, I developed myself and am not comfortable sharing openly in tutorial form as I am in the process of selling these and filling commissions. The idea I started with for the eyes was being able to draw custom eyes and make them durable enough to not break off and easy to glue to the face.

I hope this is helpful! ^^
