DCU - PlasticMan

Part of my DCU characters deviations!

DC usually dresses PlasticMan as a ballerina with the tutu the wrong way around! I gave him normal superhero tights and stylized his belt into an "action figure" spare part!

PlasticMan is one of my favorite characters of the DCU! He is a lot cooler than his original costume allows him to be! He is the only character in all comics with that kind of powers that doesn't take himself seriously!!! Have a look at Morisson's JLA, he is a riot in every frame that he is in! 'Specially when Batman is talking! He is just awesome!
His chemistry with DC's big guns (Superman and Batman) is awesome to read and he is such a rich character that ElongatedMan shouldn't even exist!

If I was re-creating the DCU he would always be part of the JLA, and he'd always have his own title!
(I don't really care for his "sidekick" Woozy though!)

Funny fact: When I sketched this out I wasn't planning on drawing PlasticMan. It was meant as a caricature of Jack Nicholson!!!... Not a very successful one as it happens! (it, probably, wasn't that a funny fact in the end!)
