Hey guys.It's actually 05:35 here...in the morning...and I still am not asleep. Yeah...
I don't even know how I am functioning right now...
But I recently found this. Seems like I actually finished coloring in my "need a hand" line art a looooong time ago. I just never uploaded since I had no background.
But as my brain is slower then usual then I actually don't care. And I think you guys may like it even without a background. And even if you don't...well, at least I uploaded something "new-ish".
I don't really like this coloring job except maybe the face but it's all I could do.
I notice some color errors now and I haven't really marked it as my drawing but frankly, I am way too lazy to do those things...
Hopefully you will like this. I have been drawing a few sketches recently and doing some work but nothing on the level I want to be.
But if history has taught me anything then it is that during the last few days of my summer vacation, I will suddenly be filled with creativity...when I have the least amount of time!

Think I forgot to comment. Anyways, I believed I said I would fave this again once colored, and I must say totally worth the wait! Since I don't know the character, it was interesting to note the two colored eyes and scar on her nose, things I couldn't see in the BW version.
Really, I don't know what you see wrong with the coloring. Naturally looking blush, can see the depth to the fingers well on both characters, hairs cool with individual strands, and like you said the face is really great.

Yeah? I guess that coloring it (or well, posting the colored version) was worth it then.
But I did show the scar and the different eye-colors on the black and white version so that people could at least see that! Too bad it wasn't easy to spot. Color fixes everything, huh?

I think I drew a very light sketch on paper, scanned it in, inked it in photoshop and then colored and shaded in photoshop.
Pen (/pencil), Paper, scanner, tablet and photoshop are my tools of the trade.

well, my scanner is a HP scanjet 2400. It's a bit old but it works well...

Yeah, I know. I just am not at the background level yet and I am tired of it holding me back.
Maybe I should just team up with someone who knows how to draw backgrounds...

The work on that hair is amazing, I can really see details put into each individual strand, excellent work.

Well, I just drew random lines for the line-art and then did some filter and quick lines work to get the hair to look like that.
But great that you think it looks good! Then I will continue to research that trick! XD

Ya, it's a funny thing.
I own two screens I use when drawing these days (my laptop and an external monitor for extended desktop)and when I look at some of my drawings, that look good on my laptop screen, on my external monitor then I notice that the coloring either becomes too pink or too pale or too faded etc.
It's 50% the screen you use and 50% me sucking!
