Description Finished version from this:

Ugh, my camera can't handle the original shades so I had to edit this a lot.

This time I wanted to show Farrow's elf form and her using her powers as well, maybe you already guessed it.
Had a lot of problems with the colouring. I stil think some shades are too close each other but otherwise I like it.

Time: Hmmh, between 8 and 10 hours.
Used: an ink pen, Caran d'Ache and Derwent coloured pencils and Rembrandt soft pastels.

I really love the colors you used for this piece, they all work well together, the pointed gems are a wonderful contrast from the soft feathers and the blending is absolutely amazing! My one problem is with the red gems above, I am not sure why you inserted this contrast?

Thank you so much! I'm not very sure about it either. I wanted there to be something different so that everything wouldn't look too similar. I tried to use salomon pink and pink (somehow it looks more like red *-*) but it turned out differently than what I'd expected. The shade really isn't what I had in mind. Maybe I should have added more violet shades on them? Thanks for the critique anyway, I'll do my best next time! :]

I love how did the shape of the bird and blended the colors, but i do not like how the lines are defined, you can barely see them.

How you did the bird and the girl are awesome! Both in the emotion on their faces and the action their doing.
Try making the lines more defined, ( Darkened ) so you can see whats going on more clearly.

You're a great artist! And i can see you becoming a pro one day!

Yeah, after colouring the lines faded, of course. I have to admit I don't trust my inking skills that much (but this time the lines turned out pretty good if I do say so myself) and I thought I'll spoil something if I try to darken all the lines again. So I only darkened few of them. Β

Thank you! I used , hmm, 7 different blue coloured pencils plus the light blue pastel on the background. After all blue is my favourite colour and I just enjoy discovering new shades by mixing the different shades of the same colour. That's how you use coloured pencils, I guess. Β

I love this picture, the bird and the girl are drawn very nice and cute )))
and the feather is drawn quite beautifully ;D
but thing which bothers me is red crystals, they are taking attention from foreground, because they have warm and bright color, which isΒ  oposing the soft tones of foregrond, and some of blue crystals were not put as much effort that they could have been, and I suggest you to draw some transpeernt objects from real life, or crystals, and I am not sayng they are bad just saying what you might work on.
but overall quite good ;Π·

Thank you so much! ^^ I see. Believe me when I started colouring I was very sure the results will contain no red colours... I continued but started to wonder why it should be so. (Couldn't there be even a little red or pink? Couldn't I use salomon pink or carmine?) I was also afraid that the work would look too blue. That's why I did so. In fact that shade isn't excactly what I had in mind. I know some shades should be darker maybe I was a bit too busy to finish this one. I just wanted to get it done. Well, next time I'll know.
That's great idea. I've thought I should practice more how different objects reflect light and shadowing/shadows but transparent objects sounds fun too.
