Finally, after three weeks of iterations, Rarity! The personal obligation to make my final character of the main cast the best possible one had me going through and rejecting a yard of embroidered minky, 3 manes, and 2 tails, and probably brought me to the brink of losing my sanity.Had to take her photos outside in daylight because her snow-white coat washed out in my light tent

Yeah, partly because I made a personal promise to make them safe for cuddling, and because I'm too lazy to look for wire to use. Mostly because I'm too lazy to look for wire to use

So how'd you get her forelock to stay up like that? interfacing underneath?

I had one layer of thin batting between the forelock pieces to make it stiff enough to stand at the root, then I tacked the hair to her cheek

You did a fantasic job with the main and tail! So curly! How did you manage to make it stay like that? Is there wire between the fabric?

By the way, the embroideries got here today. They are so lovely! May I ask, how do you get the irises to be so thick and a different texture from the rest of the piece? The rest of the eye resembles mine but I can't figure that out.
